Today we have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of aspiring students in Anson and Union counties who are eager to pursue their dreams of higher education.
This year we are excited to announce the launch of our Belynda Little Horne Scholarship Fundraiser in memory of our beloved sorority sister. Mrs. Horne attended the public schools of Anson County, graduating from Bowman Senior High in 1982. She is an alumna of Winston Salem State University where she earned a BS in Education. She earned her Master of Education at Winthrop College in Rock Hill, SC. Mrs. Horne was very community oriented and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, PHA, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, and a proud 35-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

However, the rising costs of tuition and associated expenses are placing a heavy burden on students and their families. This Giving Tuesday, we are asking your support to alleviate some of this financial stress and pave the way for a new generation of leaders and innovators.
Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:
1. Empower Dreams: Your donation will directly fund scholarships for students who have demonstrated exceptional academic promise and a strong commitment to their communities.
2. Expand Access: By supporting our Scholarship Fundraiser, you are helping to ensure that talented individuals, regardless of their financial circumstances, can access the education they deserve.

During November 14th – 28th, AAXO will be doing an online fundraising campaign to raise funds in support of our scholarship fund. Contributions can be made by one of the following means by November 28, 2023:
1) Checks payable to Alpha Alpha Chi Omega Chapter can either be given to a member of AAXO or mailed to: Alpha Alpha Chi Omega Chapter, P.O. Box 2598, Monroe, NC 28111.
